Wanted: Samsung Sports Reporters
By order of Samsung Germany ambuzzador recruited Samsung fans as Samsung Sports Reporters for the IAAF WM berlin 2009TM via social media. The mission was generating offline buzz right at the IAAF WM berlin 2009TM as well as user generated content live & uncut within social communities. Samsung Sports Reporters increased around IAAF the awareness for Samsung as an umbrella brand and the outlined Samsung products, online and offline.

The Job as Samsung Sports Reporter: Reporting 2 days (August 19 – 20) live from IAAF in personal communities – with Samsung Phone Jét S8000 & Camera WB550. The Requirements: Applicants are interested in CE, sports & well-connected in social networks. After their outstanding applications via social media by posting a text, foto or video directly to the own social media profile 10 girls & boys were chosen as Reporters.

Exclusive goodies

Equipped with IAAF tickets, a reporter outfit, their brandnew Samsung mobile Phone & Camera they started reporting on August 19. The team had the one time chance to visit the IAAF committee backstage & see the instruments for time measurement, the relaxation room for athletes and many secrets more. At midday they whole team had lunch with Steffi Nerius, winner of the gold medal in javelin. It goes without saying: exclusively Steffi told us the mystery behind her talismans, the headbands, & her feelings after this ground-breaking success. Afterwards the 10 girls & boys were visiting the Samsung Quadriga Salon & Kulturstadion @ Berlin city center for a short refreshment. Exactly 6 p.m. they have been back in the stadium for watching the games in the Samsung VIP-Lounge. On the next day the Samsung Sports Reporters’ motto was again: reporting, reporting, reporting, covering Twitter, Facebook, StudiVZ, MySpace, Werkennt wen, SchülerVZ, MeinVZ, Stay Friends, Youtube, Blogs, Flickr & Yousty.
